Find the Possible from the Impossible
Recently, I went to an amazing event, the No Barriers Summit. If you hadn’t heard of it, it’s amazing; and you should be typing those two words in your search bar this very second.
They say, “What’s within you is stronger than what’s in your way.” Hence the name No Barriers.
All weekend I kept repeating those words over and over in my head: What’s within you is stronger than what’s in your way. What’s within you is stronger than what’s in your way. The people there were so inspirational. Blind people running parkour, and deaf people performing breathtaking melodies in front of hundreds of people.
As I looked around, there was not one person amid the crowd who didn’t have a smile on their face. I realized there are two types of people in the world: People who live life behind their barriers, and people who find the possible out of the impossible, surpassing their barriers.
I realized that I wanted to be the person who finds the possible from the impossible.
I’ll leave you with some words of wisdom, spoken by Amy Van Dyken, six-time Olympic gold medalist, at the Summit:
“Who are you to tell me what I can and can’t do”.
